Finance Advisory & Bookkeeping · Led by CA Finalists
We build finance functions that hold —
and rebuild the ones that broke.
Most finance and accounting problems don't start in the accounts — they start earlier, in approvals, evidence, bookkeeping, recording and review. We build finance functions that hold up from day one, and rebuild the ones — through data cleanup, reconciliation and stronger controls — that have stopped telling a consistent story.
A new business, before the records get away from it.
You're focused on customers, operations and cash — as you should be. We put a simple, controlled finance and bookkeeping structure underneath that early, so growth doesn't turn into incomplete records, unclear responsibilities and year-end surprises.
Records and processes that no longer agree.
The books and the bank statement have drifted apart, balances are hard to explain, and no one fully trusts the monthly figures. We diagnose what broke, clean the accounting data, reconcile the balances, correct the entries and rebuild the internal controls — until the financial reporting is dependable again.
Both paths end in the same place — controlled processes · clean books · reliable financial reporting.

Finance support shaped around how your sector actually operates.
Sector context changes the transaction flow, controls and reporting—not the standard.
The Foundation of Our Approach
Four things keep it standing after we leave.
Internal controls
The process behind each entry: requested, approved, received, recorded, paid and reviewed, with no one person controlling a transaction end to end.
Financial controls
The proof that the accounting result is correct: recognition, classification, cut-off, tax treatment and reconciliation.
The monthly close
Balances proved, exceptions named and assigned, management review before anything is reported.
Automation support
Configured on top of a clean manual foundation to remove repetitive processing and surface exceptions.
See how we understand, diagnose, build or repair, and then prove the result.
Start with a clear picture of where your finances actually stand.
Our free Finance Function Diagnostic is one structured session. We map how your transactions and bookkeeping really flow, find where evidence, recognition, reconciliation or review breaks down, and hand you a prioritised action plan — whether or not we ever work together.

Book a free diagnostic →How We Work
Understand first. Then diagnose, build or repair.
We don't start with accounting software or a standard package. We start by understanding how your finances and bookkeeping actually move today — because the financial reporting problem almost always begins earlier, in how transactions are approved, evidenced, recorded, reconciled and reviewed.
The Method
Four steps, in order. Always.
Understand
We map your real transaction flows: how a sale, a purchase, a payment, payroll, an asset or a grant expense moves from event to entry to report. No assumptions — we follow what actually happens.
Diagnose
We find where the chain breaks: missing evidence, unclear ownership, recognition or cut-off errors, reconciliations that were never done, tax records that don't match the ledger. You get a clear, prioritised picture. (This step is your free Finance Function Diagnostic.)
Build or Repair
If you're new: we build the structure — controls, chart of accounts, reconciliation rhythm and reporting — from the ground up. If you're operating: we clean the data, reconcile the balances, correct the entries and rebuild the controls.
Prove & Report
We establish the monthly close: every balance proved, every exception named, management review, and reporting produced from the same reconciled records. Then automation goes on top to make it faster.
Our Starting Promise
Every engagement begins with the same free step.
The Finance Function Diagnostic is a genuine "understand and diagnose" session offered at no cost. It's useful on its own — you leave with a clear action plan whether or not you engage us further. It's also the honest way for both sides to see whether there's a fit before any commitment.
The Leave-Behind
The Clean Books System — the discipline, made visible.
The Clean Books System is our signature monthly discipline: a set of checks that prove every number in the business, split between the work your accountant does and the few things an owner personally verifies — closed each month with one signed page. It's how a controlled finance function looks in practice, and it's the tool that lets you see the discipline you may currently be missing.
(Detail of the 44-check system — 36 accountant checks + 8 owner checks — is shared as part of an engagement.)
Who We Help
Built for where you are. Shaped by how your sector works.
Whether you are building from the beginning or running an established organisation, ZARVENIX supports the finance needs of the stage you are in and the sector you operate in.
Where You Are Today
Two stages. One place to move finance forward.
Organisations come to us at different points. Some are putting the foundations in place; others are ready to bring greater order, reliability and visibility to an existing finance function.
You are building the business and want finance to grow with it.
From the first records to regular reporting, this is for organisations that want a clear financial foundation from the beginning.
The organisation is running, but finance needs greater structure.
This is for businesses and organisations that want clearer records, stronger financial discipline and reporting they can rely on.
Your stage tells us where to begin. Your sector tells us how to build.
Bring fees, payroll, assets and programme costs into one view.
Focus: fee-to-bank reconciliation, student receivables, departmental costs, payroll, assets and management reporting.
Keep finance simple enough to move and strong enough to scale.
Focus: revenue models, project or subscription accounting, cash runway, monthly close and founder or investor reporting.
Connect purchasing, inventory, sales and margin.
Focus: stock and cost-of-sales reconciliation, product margins, receivables, payables, tax and working capital.
Keep every project financially visible.
Focus: project costs, contractor balances, advances, retention, work in progress, cash flow and project reporting.
Reconcile high-volume sales across every channel.
Focus: gateway settlements, cash-on-delivery, returns, discounts, marketplace deductions, inventory and tax alignment.
Connect service delivery with financial control.
Focus: patient, pharmacy and insurance revenue, medical inventory, payroll, vendors and department-level reporting.
Control inventory, distribution and product economics.
Focus: batch and expiry records, distributor balances, returns, rebates, product costing, margin and compliance.
Make every grant balance explainable.
Focus: project expenditure, shared-cost allocation, grant income, restricted funds, bank reconciliation, donor reporting and audit trail.
Your stage tells us where to begin. Your sector tells us how to build.
We first understand the organisation, its transaction flow and its current finance structure—then define the right scope.

The Free Finance Function Diagnostic.
One structured session that gives you a clear, honest picture of where your finances, bookkeeping and accounting controls actually stand — and a prioritised plan to fix what's weak. No cost, no obligation, and genuinely useful whether or not we ever work together.
The diagnostic is the "understand and diagnose" start of how we work, offered on its own. We map how your transactions really flow, then find where the chain breaks — missing evidence, unclear ownership, recognition or cut-off errors, reconciliations never done, tax records that don't match the ledger.
- A map of how your finances currently move, event to report.
- A clear list of where evidence, recognition, matching or review is breaking down.
- A prioritised action plan you can act on — with or without us.
- An honest view of whether we're the right fit for the work.
Nothing. It's free because it's the right first step for both sides, and because a clear diagnosis is genuinely valuable on its own.
Any SME, startup or NGO that suspects its finance function is weaker than it should be — or simply wants to check.
Try It First — Two-Minute Tools
Before you book, see where you stand.
Two short tools built on the same discipline behind the diagnostic. The first points you to the ZARVENIX engagement that fits. The second scores the control gaps in your books, module by module. Neither replaces the free session — they show you why it's worth having.
Four questions. We'll show you which path — Build or Recovery — fits your situation, and the specific ZARVENIX services that make up your starting engagement.
Six questions across the six things every set of books has to prove. You'll get a control-risk score and a module-by-module read on where the exposure is.
Where the exposure sits
Whatever these tools surface, the next step is the same — a free Finance Function Diagnostic. The tools give you a read; the session gives you a plan.

About ZARVENIX
Built from the gap between keeping books and running finance properly.
ZARVENIX began with a recurring observation: many organisations had accounting software, finance staff and years of entries — but not a finance function they could fully rely on.
Where It Began
Audit showed us the result. We became interested in what caused it.
Our work exposed us to more than financial statements. It showed us how records are created, where responsibilities become unclear, why reconciliations are delayed and how small process gaps eventually affect reporting, compliance and decision-making.
The same lesson kept returning: many financial problems could have been prevented much earlier. That shifted our interest from identifying issues after the fact to helping organisations strengthen the finance work that happens every day.
ZARVENIX grew from that shift — from reviewing what had already happened to helping build better financial discipline, visibility and accountability going forward.
Finance in Changing Times
Strong accounting remains essential. The way it is delivered must keep evolving.
Finance teams are expected to close faster, explain performance earlier and manage more information with fewer repetitive steps. Automation, connected systems and AI-assisted tools are changing how that work can be performed.
Our direction is to combine professional accounting discipline with practical technology: standardise the process, automate what repeats, surface exceptions sooner and preserve the judgment, review and accountability that technology cannot replace.
Structure before speed.
Clean data, defined ownership and reliable controls remain the base of every solution.
Automate what repeats.
Use workflows, trackers, dashboards and system logic to reduce routine processing.
Keep decisions accountable.
Professional review, interpretation and responsibility stay with people—not the tool.

Using what we have. Building what we want.
What we bring
